The Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC) has been monitoring the decision issued by the Palestinian president regarding the transfer of the mechanisms for disbursing the entitlements and allowances of prisoners, the families of martyrs, and the wounded to the Palestinian National Economic Empowerment Institution.

The Occupation Releases 369 Prisoners in the Sixth Batch of the First Phase of the Exchange Deal Between the Occupation and Palestinian Political Parties

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, the occupation authorities released 369 Palestinian prisoners as part of the sixth batch of the first phase of the exchange deal. Among them, 36 prisoners serving life sentences were released, with 24 forcefully deported to Egypt. Additionally, 333 prisoners from Gaza, who had been detained by the occupation after October 7, were also released.

The occupation releases 183 prisoners as part of the fifth batch of the first phase of the exchange deal while continuing its repressive practices against male and female detainees:

As part of the implementation of the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal, the occupation authorities released 183 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, February 8, 2025. This batch included 18 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, 54 prisoners with high sentences, and 111 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested after October 7, 2023. Additionally, seven prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment were forcefully deported to Egypt as an initial stop before being transferred to other countries.

The release of 293 Palestinian prisoners, including those serving life sentences, long-term sentences, and children, from Israeli occupation prisons as part of the third and fourth batches of the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal

As part of the implementation of the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal, 293 Palestinian prisoners were released in the third and fourth batches. On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the occupation authorities released a total of 110 Palestinian prisoners, including 32 serving life sentences, 48 with long-term sentences, and 30 children. Additionally, 20 prisoners from the West Bank were forcibly deported to the Gaza Strip, including 17 serving life sentences and 3 with long-term sentences.

As part of the implementation of the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal, 293 Palestinian prisoners were released in the third and fourth batches. On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the occupation authorities released a total of 110 Palestinian prisoners, including 32 serving life sentences, 48 with long-term sentences, and 30 children. Additionally, 20 prisoners from the West Bank were forcibly deported to the Gaza Strip, including 17 serving life sentences and 3 with long-term sentences.

**Ramallah** – The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, and the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association have received responses from the Israeli occupation army confirming the martyrdom of detainees **Mohammed Sharif Al-Asali (35 years old) on May 17, 2024**, and **Ibrahim Adnan Ashour (25 years old) on June 23, 2024**. Both detainees were from **Gaza**.
