Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association learned through Dr. Dima Amin’s lawyer that her detention has been extended for interrogation purposes until tomorrow, Tuesday.

Israeli occupation forces arrested Dr. Amin on 18 August 2026, following a nighttime raid on her home, during which her hands were tightly restrained with plastic restraints and she was blindfolded. During her transfer, she suffered a health emergency that required her to be transferred to hospital, where she underwent a number of medical examinations, including a catheterization procedure, before being returned to interrogation once her health condition had stabilized.

On 20 August 2026, the Ofer Military Court extended Dr. Amin’s detention for five days for interrogation, based on allegations related to incitement through social media. Today, her detention was extended again for one day, until tomorrow, Tuesday, in order to complete the interrogation.
